Really nice shots and really nice Lab Syd, not too old by the looks of it.

Nicecollar - very nostalgic. Can't you deploy him intoyour Chav situation - only problem is that it is pretty difficult to instil the need for aggression in a lab (unless its food is at stake). I however have an extremely aggressive & well trainedGerman Shepherd who I would be more than happy to deploy on a long range, deep insertion opfor you. Could HALO him in, weather permitting.

Notice you shot these with the 5500 and not the 9500 - didn't check the date on the exif data mind you.

Shots were taken about a year or so ago. He's comming up for his second birthday in April. He is a lot bigger and incredibly strong. His Grandsire was Crufts Puppy Champion.

Although Lab's are not known for agression, he does not like Chavs hanging around on every street corner at all and always does his bit perfectly whenever the opportunity arises. Strange as with anyone else he's a big cuddly baby. He's a good barker and will bark on command but not a biter. My last dog which died after 13 years (broke my heart) was a German Sheppard/Labrador cross. A very nice mix indeed.

Thought you all had Ridgebacks out there Steve.

Chavs tend to have little Bull Terriers and walk around as if they have a lion on a lead. It's quite funny when you see them saying to their dogs"No....no..." whilst tightening the dogs lead trying to make out they have a "hard" dog. I've found that if you approach the dog and do the right thing they generally roll over on their tummy's for a tickle, much to the annoyance of the Chave owner, having had his dog make him loose face.

Maybe Syd should ask his Chav mates for some advice on that one Dustin:G

AhhSyd, the Ridgeback - now there's a dog with a big heart ;so big that they were bred & used, to take on lions at one time and yet wonderful around children.

Good choice Dale. Actually works quite well.

Dale, I wouldn't worry too much about it - I think Syd was just trying to give the impression he actually has a ceiling over his head :G

Syd, I actually prefer the white background but that's purely from a dog lover's perspective (why do I think I'm leaving myself wide open with that statement).

I think that was a bit rude of Dale to categorize Denton as a stupid pet, by the way :blah:
