Please let me know what you think. This is my first non-fixed focus camera and I'm enjoying a whole new world. The only other camera I had was a finepix 2300 2.1mp. Thanks in advance

Welcome to the forum. This one is a bit soft. You need to sharpen it. Kind regards.

it looked to be quite low lighting.. my guess is your shutter speeds were too long for a sharp pic..

Hi Arron,

Welcome to the forum.

Not a bad shot. A littlemore DOF to keep the whole figurine in focus would be nice.
On low light shots the camera has to be still. Hand holding it is near impossible.
It is for me. What was your shutter speed?
Hope it helps.

Thanks guys. I have tried a few other things. That was my secondday with the camera. I have learned alot about light/Sspeed/F stop and ISO. The first week I was totally oblivious regarding those settings. I took that one down and have 6 others posted now. These forums a cool for learningtips and tricks. Let me know if these are any good.

HARDS80, you have some awesome shots on your site! Props!

hey man..

if you want more comments.. its better to upload a pic to this site and put it in a seperate thread... not many ppl take the time to follow a link and then browse through the pics..

and you have some good shots to share too.. i would recommend posting a few of them in their own threads..

the barn and windmill shot is very good.. good colors, and the composition is pleasing with the barn and windmill on the left 1/3..

my favorite though, i think, is the airplane props.. the repeating patterns of the props and the pleasing color combinations of the grey and yellow of the props on the blue sky is very nice..

cheers,
dustin

p.s. thanks for the kind wordsre: my site.. much appreciated..

I'll try to re-post them. I had no luck with the insert image function. I had a problem with it, no picture at preview so I had to pasteas links.

I'll give it another try

Thanks again!
