dismal weather made color shooting almost impossible.

i'll see if some others can be acceptably color and still have interest.

OK... It's not a "SUNSET". That's good.

It's soft. That's bad.

As a matter of fact i really looked this over and I can't see anything in focus.
DID YOU USE A TRIPOD?

dale

PS: I really looked and looked... Again...
I think your focus was in the water in front of the falls.

i wanted a surreal feel, but point taken.

i like the first E.S. very dismal sort of bleek (?) look to it that i like. makes me think it was taken years and years ago on film from the way it looks. to make it look older you might add some vignetting around the edges.

hey mikej,

glad you saw what i was going for there (:blah: to dale&dustin!)

anyway, i have been shooting these more, for they seem to draw more interest than

my color shots.

i should post as "going for the 'old" on these.

Scot,

I think this is a great shot, it invokes a very strange feeling.Itlooks very surrealwith the darker water and then the nice flow of the falls. I like the tree blocking some of the falls because it draws me in. It's almost at the level as if you were swimming.

goodshot!

not enough contrast in that last one... its all midtones.. a little levels edit and some contrast boost will make it much more interesting..
