It's a pretty orangish yellowish color.

The problem is the dark area consumes over half the frame.
I downloaded the picture to do a "Curves" just to see
what's in the big black area. Its fantastic... No wonder you took this shot.
To bad you lost it. Your exposure should have been set to include the detail in the
foreground. A series of picture could be used to form a composite picture that would give you the best of both

Yes, there is a lot of black empty space in this image but ya know, I kind of like it...I like the diagonal curvy line going from one corner to the other and I like the abrupt stop of the straight line againt the diagonal! In my mind, I see a person standing there on the mountain with their arms stretched out looking over this scene, happy to be a witness of this little corner of the world! It would be a really nice addition to this silhouette. The color of the sky is really gorgeous. Thanks for sharing this image! :-)

i am with dale here.. i think some more detail in the rock would really add alot to this shot.. i like the strong diagnols and the way you have captured the arid nature of the place, but its just too much dark with not enough detail.. a blended exposure would have worked perfectly here!

thanks for sharing
