Folks, yesterday I did a crazy thing. I decided to try stitching for pano effect. I saved two different files of the same shot and stitched them. I did some pp and the result is what you see.

I was curious, I wanted to see what this looks like in real print. So I dashed down town and had this printed (100 centimeters width by 30 cms height). It was the most amazing and gorgeous picture. The colours were right everything just seemed perfect. I framed it and as I was going home, I met a fellow who said he loved it and wanted to buy it. I told him a price I thought would dissuade him from even wanting a bargain. He did not but an eye. He was for it. I went all the way to the bank laughing. A happy ending indeed. I thought I should share with you this one. We share moments of joy too.

From a technical point of view this one might have lots of problems. Just say it. We will improve on the next one. :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) will not stop me from laughing.

Kind regards.

Jaki.

Well done Jaki - I could think of an obvious comment about 'stitching' but I don't want to steal Syd's thunder (he won't be able to resist it).

Your happy customer doesn't want a signed large print of my Tortois Erotica or Dead Bird shot does he? :G

Steve thanks for the comments. You know this was a windfall; one of those things that just happens. We parted company with my happy customer after the transaction was done. But if I should see him, will let him know there is signed Tortoise Erotica and a Dead Bird. :blah: :-) :-) :-).

Kind regards.

Jaki

unfortunately it is very obvious that this is the same shot.. why not go out and take a few different shots and stitch them together now that you have the technique down?

Yes Dustin & Julie. As I said, this was a windfall, was just trying the technique out and things just happened with a happy ending. Point taken. Kind regards. Jaki
