I thought I would also post this pic here for comments.

I took this picture during a late night walk during my recent holidays. The pic is quite noisy I think but I did take it at 1600iso.

I love this one. It seems it was sitting there and waiting for you to come. There are details and given that it is a night shot. I think you did very well. Cool Shadowlies.

Thanks Aumma,

Truth be told he was waitin for me,I think he just sat there afterwards because he was laughing himself stupid.

He waited until I was directly beneath him before making a sound and nearly had me knock him off his branch when I jumped.

the flash really makes your white balance very cool.. i think if you warmed it up a bit it would be more pleasing.. and i might work on the eyes, the REDEYE is quite creepy, in an unattractive way.. should be easy enough in photoshop..

Beautiful image! I find the merger coming from the top of the owls head and the one coming from the right hand side of his head arecompeting with the subject for the viewer's attention. I think I'd clone them out. Good job on this one! :GLooks much better also with the red eye fixed.

Didn't think that was the red. Thought that was the natural eye of the bird. :G. Kind regards.
