Steve,

Did one of your tortoises' lay anegg in there before they fired it??

Interesting shot (no pun intended) The bottom of the wheels and thatsign on the left being cut of is a little distracting. I really like the colors and angle of the picture though

Mugmar

Steve this is one of your best shots. I am so happy for you. The colours are beautiful, the composition fits the subject. Is there a why you can restore those cut wheels? Well done. Kind regards Jaki.

Geez Jaki, I didn't realise it was that good - although the colours appealed at the time. I shall retake the shot the next time I'm in the area and recompose it. It really was a quick off the cuff shot when I was packing up. Thanks for the very kind comments - going to have a closer study of it myself now :-)

Thanks Mugmartoo - composition definitely needs addressing and seems from your comments that it would be worthwhile taking again.

Well, I certainly got a bang out of it. It's a Canon - what lenses are you going to get for it?:?

looks a bit like one of the real early British 2-pounders... probably "spiked" by the owners to prevent it from being used by the enemy. do you have any history on it?
