Steve, firstly I really like the edited version, the first shot. Great effect that I think you should try out more as it really works well.

Secondly; flowers, lunctime trips to the museum and zoo, rhino horn. . . are you in love?

i prefer this one to "restrained" because of the nice diagonal from the fence.. but i dont really care for the concrete showing.. the processing really works well for this shot.. all in alla nice attempt that could benefit from a different crop or composition to get rid of the concrete..

Thanks everyone,

Zak - No great artistic talent on my part I'm afraid to say - just ran it through Neat Image, which is something I don't normally do, and ended up with thefirst image.

Syd - yes, I am very much in love ......... with life (how's that for a truly cheesy response)

Dustin - is this any better (I was originally a little conscious of cutting too much out of the pic in cropping out the verge)

I like the edit, you know the blurry feel of the breeze blowing. Very clever indeed. Thanks for sharing. Jaki.

Thanks Jaki - my original thought was one of nature'sdefiance ofurban spread - kind of fighting back. As I said, the effect wasn't intentional until I started fiddling with neat image.
