Here are three winter scenes that I would like to hear comments about. I hope I'm not over doing it with these types of photos. If I am, I apologize.

Nice shots Jim - Ithink like the second one the most. The symmetry of the reflections of the hills on the water and the contrasting autumn like colour of the rushes just looks great. Third one's got some nice contours in the snow that'flow'in a way that attracts interest. Looks like your managing fine with the camera now. Beautiful country side - just made for winter scenes. Keep well & hope you get out more so that you can post more shots like these.

post your photos on here, you are not going to get many comments on links as many of us don't bother to click on them..

Actually, that is when I was trying to do. But I wanted to post all three images in a single message. I followed the procedure I used on another forum that it didn't work. Still don't know how to do it here. Sorry, if you haven't got time to look they probably aren't worth the effort anyway.

if you hit the icon that is 4th from the left in the toolbar.. the one that looks like a piece of paper with 3 balls on it.. it will open a window... put your links in there..

so they look like this..

the 2nd one is my favorite here.. the strong interactions between the diagonal lines of the mountains with the lake and snow in the foreground makes for a nice scene..

the first one, it just isnt as interesting.. that piece of the lake doesnt hold my interest and i know there is a mountain behind it and want to see it..

the third one.. interesting pattern, but i dont really like the brown color of the water.. and i just dont think its enough interest.. maybe converting to mono would help, but i am not sure.. i would like to have something to anchor the shot.. a log/rock/something..
