Hi,

A couple of things with this shot. Firstly the line of birds really leads me into this picture. Good composition.

Its a nice scene. Because of the lack of colour anyway I would maybe go for a mono conversion - maybe even add a sepia wash?

Also, the post and the "horizon" should be vertical and horizontal but they are both slanted. Just needs a little adjustment.

the composition is good.. nice placement of the house.. but overall its quite bleak lacking any punchy colors.. so i may have went black and white on this one.. and then jacked up the contrast a bit for interest..

I think I'll try this again after one of those snowfalls that leave the tree branches covered in snow or maybe I'll try again in the spring or late fall when the trees have some colour.

Thanks

I think I would rather have in the edit. In this kind of weather you don't expect much in colour without the sun. The B&W is an option. Nice composition. Rule of the third applied well in regard to the house. Leading line by birds, good exposure, sharp and from an artistic point of view, good capture. Regards. Jaki.
