I was not very hopeful about persuading this unpleasant water turtle pose for me...yet, it proved to be a considerable talent!

I like this turtle. This shot has potential to be a great one. The immediate problems I see are: it needs some cropping. You should have use a higher f-stop to get that turtle in clear view.

Also if you don't mind and are familiar with post processing, don't hesitate to use it. Improves on the shot a lot. I have cropped and cloned. Regards.

Thanks for your feedback, Jaki. In fact I too had suspected about cropping the scene, however let it remain so as to accentuate the position of the turtle in a niche. Now I see that I should have done as you put it. And about larger f-stop, I noted it. I hope I will be lucky enough to persuade the very turtle for a set of more shots!!
