I would appreciate any comments on this shot of some snow-covered thatched buildings at afolk village. I cropped out the sky and foreground, then added a digital frame following instructions from a PSCS2 book I was given for Christmas. The framing procedure is amazingly complex, or at least the one I followed was!

I think the shot a a focal point which is the collections of huts. The colour tone is nice given that this is a low light shot. I think it is well exposed therefore. I like the slightly blurry texture. That is about I can say. Tried to look hard for a negative comment but don't see one. Well, I don't really care about the framing. Regards.

Simon,

I hope you don't mind an edit. I found this capture to be an excellent one and I wanted to see a bit more detail so I played a bit with the levels and gamma and came up with this and I also used a freeware program called, PhotoFiltre to create this frame.

Again, I find this capture to be very good and would not hesitate to print and frame and hang up on my wall.

Thanks for posting it.

Tom
