Nice shot, not normally keen on flower shots but i like this, a little dark in the center i think could of done with reflecting a bit of the light in there. nice framing/crop.

Very nice shot indeed - I like the various contrasts although I personally think it is over-cropped. Would have been nice to see more of the bloom all round.

i think the crop is ok, nicely framed. good detail. the light, i find gives it a more "quiet" and delicate feel, maybe a little reflector action wouldn't be bad though- overall i think it's pretty nice.

I agree, the centre is dark but I think it makes the edge petals look even brighter and more vibrant. Nice shot.

As the others said the middle is a bit dark, to fix that, what you could do is reflect light from the source onto it, some things to use to do so is tin foil, or even a normal piece of white paper would work, but I think that this a great picture, but you can make it unbelievably great by doing those small improvements.

if you are going to fill the frame with a white object you need to overexpose it by a couple of stops to get the whites to look white. otherwise your camera will render it a grey as it is here.

Wow and I thought i was going to see another lame flower shot. NOT! Its qute serene and beutifull, however if I was you, I would milk the white out of this shot. Maybe its my monitor but its a bit to dark for me. Kick up the white level see what happens.

real nice shot
