Almost stepped on this in an inlet in Arcadia National Park, Maine.

Nice and colourful... I like position of the snail, but I think his head gets lost in some of the rocks.

i like this shot. it is nicely composed, great color and texture and an interesting subject. i like the little path he's cut for himself....nicely done.

don't they have "slow - no wake" speed limits there? :blah: seriously, this is a great shot. nice composition, and i like the color in the sand... congrats for noticing a photo op most people would completely overlook!

I am now looking out the window at a least one foot of snow. I wish I was back in Bar Harbor, Maine in the summertime when I met the snail!! Will be obligated to take more snow pictures.

I love the opportunity that mother nature provides so we may be able to witness natural happenings. Trust my pet birds will return to feed after the snow.

I want to thank everyone for their kind remarks.
