Dug these out from shots I took with my 5500 in December - any comment on composition would be appreciated.

Out of these two, I especially enjoyed the second one.The objects are distinct enough to observe their nature. Maybe it would not be very appropriate to compare painting and photography, but your second photo reminds me of the landscape paintings of Constable who had advocated the fist hand experince of the artist, and was renowned for his vigour in conveying the changing light conditions in nature, travel of the clouds in the sky, the sound from the crossing brooks.

Nice shots. I like the reflection on the water and nice place, very peaceful and quiet. My only comment is that the first one is a bit dark on my monitor.
