Sunrise over the University of Petroleum, at about 7:30AM.

Exposure time: 1/100
F-stop: 29.0
ISO speed: 100
Focal length: 26.0000
Focal length (35mm): 39

Minolta Maxxum 7D, I used a tripod and my new 18-70mm Minolta lens.

Exposure was a nightmare as I took several at different shutter speeds.

The Yellow Sea is in the distant, and the construction is on going for new buildings.

The entry gate looks like dinosaurs.I think it's a clever idea - looking for oil.

Hi,

Lovely shot. I wish however you had got a little more of the sky and a little less of the black foreground. Nice! Am puzzled at the focal length(s!!!!) you have specified. Doesnt hurt the shot though. Nice. You could probably lose the crane or whatever it is at the very right hand side... not adding anything to the shot.

Yes, I agree with Dom there is too much "dead" space at the bottom, but it is quite a lovely picture.

Reminds me of an old time light. Just pull the cord to turn the light on or off.:O

This is a perfect example of when the "rule of thirds" rule applies to photograph.

Great shot, the edited version is much better. I love the sillhouette and the color of the sky. Well done!
