Well some might look at it as blurry , out of focus, but It kinda has that cross between Pastel and Watercolor feel. Not Bad

Hi Julie, I like your work but I'm afraid this one doesn't really do anything for me. Think I fall into Rick's "some" category:-).Sorry.

yes jaki, i was more interested in creating movement with color and light than representing the flower as itself.* just doing something a little different.* sorry it didn't appeal to you steve, but thank you for sharing your opinion

Julie,

Very interesting idea, and I like the idea a lotbut I wonder if it would be more interesting if people could see the whole flower, then they would know what they are looking at. Just what comes to mind whenI look at it.

i see what you're saying LT7 but i wasn't trying to document what a calla lily looks like. i was going for more of an abstraction, which some may like ....but apparently not here LOL.

I like it. The color and movement work for me, though perhaps
the focal point could be a little sharper.

Don't show any more of the flower. IMO, an image like this works
best if the viewer doesn't have a clue what it really is.

Good job!
