How far away are the mountains? They look a little hazy. Otherwise, this is a fine photo.

They're a long ways away, about 60 miles. I stood way back and zoomed in to get this shot and make them look closer.

Love the contrast of the color of the car set against the blue of the sky and mountains.

60 miles away!!! All things, considered, the haze is insignificant. What else would one expect? WOW!

What was your focal length?

I walked up the block sat on the curb and shot the pix with the zoomed focal length of 432 millimeters with my Sony DSC-H1. This is what brought the mountains up close.
