Is this smoke? Very artistic and abstract. I am amazed at some of the pictures ideas you come up with. Scot, thanks for your contribution on my thread on the Moth. Jaki.

Scot,

Really like this one. You've captured the smoke so well, and the tiny bit of incense stick in the corner (nicely framed in the corner, btw) just gives the viewer enough reference to give the smoke context.

Nice!

Best,

-Ben

very interesting.. and nicely done.. it would have been easy to screw up the exposure on this one, but you did a nice job.. another creative closeup that was executed well.. today was a good day to visit the forum..

I didn't scroll my screen across so didn't notice the incense stick until it was mentioned above. Really nice capture, and original thinking. I think this would look great on the wall of a bar somewhere. There's a 'trendy' place in town that I know this would fit in perfectly.

....would even seem greater in a Starbucks cafe, if the cigarette was replaced by a mug of coffee!
Absolutely agreed with Jaki. I wonder how many people out of 100 could swear that it is smoke from a cigarette without seeing the cigarette itself.

For the time I have been on this forum, I think this is the mother of creativity. Amazing. Regards. Jaki.
