Well, this I S critiques after all. Very nice shot. Love the greens, goes so well against the rich color of the beast. The only dismay I have with this shot is that I wish it had been me that shot it.

Really great shot Jaki - where was that taken (Pta Zoo?). Nice rich colours and I like the pose.

I'd like to see someone try & hit this one over the head with a hammer :G

Check your PM BTW.

Steve

My tiger looks quite anaemic by comparison to yours:

Jaki, Love the colors & the slight angle of the shot. He, or she has such an intense look on it's face.....did you see what was in his line of sight?

jaki,

very nicely done.. sharp, exposed very well and pleasing.. the lushious greens really work nicely with the orange of the beast.. i like the slight underexposure you did here, it really helped with your saturation and overall appeal..

nice one

You must have bribed the tiger to pose in front of this mural-like stone wall. You provide the spectator great coherence of colour, crisp image and a really handsome tiger.

Great color! Very well lit and nicely saturated. I have to ask, though, what are the white specks on his side? There seems to be a pattern to them, almost as if someone had removed most of a text overlay from a poster or billboard. You aren't trying to pull a fast one on us are you Jaki? Not accusing, just asking. If it's just some dust or dirt, you should have giving him a brush before shooting him. :-)

Hi Jaki - great photo. I'm with the world and his wife on this one: lovely colours and saturation.

Steve thanks a lot for appreciating. Makes me feel I am getting somewhere at last. All folks have contributed in their unique ways.

Kath, I found him feeding and he seemed a bit excited: up and about and there was the possibility of a great shot. Thanks a lot for your kind words.

Dustin, I cannot pretend that this is entirely my effort. You have played a part always in mentoring me and for this I deeply appreciate. Still a long way to learn but getting there. You have been with me from "birth" on this forum and you know best about my growth.

Bahadir, :G thanks for your appreciation. I wonder what type of bribe he/she might have taken. :G

Brian, those white specks are a type of seed that sticks to the fur when the animals brushes on it. I know what it is but I don't know the name. Promise next time I will give him/her a brush if I can scale the wall between us :G

Frenchy, thanks that you always looked!

Regards to everyone who has looked and cannot be mentioned by name.

Thanks for all the kindness. I fell on my knees in thanks giving for this one.

Regards. Jaki.
