Hi everyone, this shot has probably been done many times before, but never by me. I'm in two minds whether it works. Also, is there a cyan cast in the skin tones, skin tones are the hardest to get right !

i really like the mystery of this shot.

since, as you have pointed out, the "windows to the soul" most definately describes

this image.

in my book and on my monitor, this shot is sexy, mysterious and skin-tone perfect!

now, if you post the full shot and she has a mustache, i retract all of the above!!!

Thanks Scot, I'm glad you like the shot.

style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000"Someone just pointed out to me that I should have lighted her eye shadow on her right(technically left) eye. Seems I'm getting slack with my PS work :?

Pretty girl, John - I like the skin tone very much. Not sure that the composition really say anything to me though, other than the fact I want to see the rest of her face - soperhaps it does!

Thanks for commenting Steve. I've got a few RAW files at home of "normal" portrait shots of this girl, it was this shot however that I'm curios whether it works or not.

The effect that it has on me is to provide enough bait to want to see more shots of the same girl.

You've certainly achieved that Johno - send us more!!!!!!!!!!:|

JohnReid Mar 8, 2006 2:25 AM

Thanks guys, you going to have to wait for me to process the Raw files, but once they done, I'll definately post them.

Getting impatient now...

Ver nice capture and I personally like the composition on thisone. A nice bright image but no blown highlights and, as Scot said, mystery.
