Hi everyone, in the original shot of this bird, its feet were cut off, but I like the detail captured so I decided to crop it into a bird portrait. Does it work?

Nice John - shot a few plovers myself (photographically speaking). Found that if you get close to the nest, at least one will hang around very close(whilst the other is off elsewhere creating a noisy decoy) & provides great photo opportunity.

Better than my crappy dial-up connection at home ......... ho, hum still waiting for Telkom (They really are less than useless)
