Sorry - yet another sunset. Found the clouds quite unusual.

The clouds in your photo have quite a relieving effect.
The Creator seems to have applied a chequered pattern in the sky for this particular performance:lol:

Oh, I love this one. Rugged sunset. Steve did you see the sunset yesterday? I was at the Eastgate Shopping Mall and cursed why I went there at all. Missed great opportunity for a shot.

Nice composition, beautiful colours and nice placement of the sun. Regards. Jaki

Thanks all for comment :-)

Jaki I did and cursedroundly because by the time I'd noticed it, it was all but over. It really was spectacular - probably the best sunset we've had this year, the whole sky was ablaze in a really unique way.

Steve, great picture. You are lucky/blessed to have such beautiful sunsets. You an d Scott both have sunset to look forward to. How high are you above sea level? Just curious because you seem to be shooting from pretty high up all the time. Are you in a tall building or just on a higher elevation in that area? Either way love the sunsets.

Thanks Lady & LT,

LT we are at 5500 feet here in Johannesburg and generally enjoy clear blue skies most of the time (other than the rainy season which we are experiencing now - hence the proliferation of sunset posts).
