Hi everyone, these two shots were taken at a recent park opened up to the public about two months ago. Its only about 10kms from my house and it has loads of potential - these are two from my first outing.

Thanks Scot, glad you liked it. It took alot of subtle edititing to keep that sky from posturising because of that graduation of colour.

Need I say more? Great pictures, was just curious, were you using a slow shutter speed to get enhance the misty look from the waves and ocean spray or was it just naturally that misty. Great pics John.

Thanks very much LT, Steve and Frenchy. To answer your question LT, there was no mist whatsoever, the "mist" as you suspected is the foam from the waves and a 25 second time exposure(it was almost dark when I took the shot).

Both are lovely, but I really like #2. I can't wait to see more photos from this location. And thanks for sharing your technique.
