beautiful capture, drew!

but...

the foreground is shadowed, making trying to bring the background arroyo and

blown out sky together a bit of work post capture without losing it all together.

if you have any photoshop software, it may be possible to make this a beauty.

i think the sky will be your biggest problem here.

if you do have PS or Picasa, play with the shadows/highlights, contrast and

saturation a bit to bring out what could be an amazing shot.

for what you could have done while taking the shot, there are folks here who shall

take you in that direction (i am a point and shoot kinda guy, myself. these great

people at steve's forums teach me somthing new everyday!)

thanks for your comments! I see what you mean so I played around with it a little in PS elements but it looks too processed to me. still learning though!

I like the second picture better, but you are right, theres something about it that looks a little "over" processed. Great scene though.
