Hi Everyone, on the way to shoot a wedding, we had to stop in the middle of nowhere to wait for someone. While we were waiting, I saw this woman walking through the fields, so I opened my window and took a shot.

If any of you ever come to the Eastern Cape, South Africa. This is the typical scenery you can expect to see along the side of the road in the rural areas.

I like this photo. I like the understated colours and the position (and 'action pose') of the figure. I'm not sure about the bevelled border though, but that's just personal opinion.

Yeah, I don't like the border either, each month I enter a photo club competition and the digital submission all need to be resized and have a border and bla bla bla, so I've pretty much automated the process.

When I print them I use a charcoal mat frame and it looks way better.

Hi John,

Nice composition. Could we see a B/W rendition for comparison?

Thanks Ladyhawk and Red Rhino.

I did try the BW conversion before posting this and thought it looked better in color, unfortunately I post from my work PC so I don't have the opportunity to do a conversion here.
