i don't know if this is the right forum for this shot.

what i guess i am loking for is appeal.

should i stick with the uncolored or does the re-colored version work?

I think the colour would be less overpowering if the shot was croppped tighter.

i do agree on the tighter crop, though.

I actually like it, nicely done and it's nice and soft the effect of the whole picture which I think makes this work.

I would leave the eye colour but as I said I would explorer the tighter crop. I think this would really force the viewer to explore the wounderful 'ticking' of facia fur. I think it could be quite elegant!!!

I like this one better. Not a big fan of cats. Can you tell? But... I do find this particular one interesting. This shot has a nice mix of textures in both the forground and background. The catch lights bother me a bit. I am not sure if its the size or the position of them in the eyes that is distracting. Nice shot!!!
