The edited version is definitely a winner. I have never seen selective color use in this way. Excellent work.

The edit is great Scot - brings the shot alive. Great spot to be living - what's the fishing like?

I prefer the original. I dont know why but the lens flare is too given away as PS when coloured, but fine as b/w. My opinion anyway.. haha.

interesting shot... I like it, need to think more about why though ?

I really like the colored lens flare. The flare was added in Photoshop, correct?

thanks all, for the varied opinions of this shot.

i am riding the fence on this, but am almost leaning LB's way on this for the matter of

believeability, though i do think the colored version adds a little artistic flair.

i do have to give all credit of the edit (poet didn't know it syndrome, sorry! :-))

to Junix on this one.
