Took this from the back gardens of a nice breakfast place..I tried to convert it to black and white initially, but gave into colors in the end. With channel mixer, I tried to enhance the greens of the leaves, and pinkness of the flower while getting more contrast to show the txture of the wall. In the end I toyed with curves to add enhance the shadows. any thoughts?Jules

I like this one a lot. I was going to comment that there is a green cast to the brick work, specifically the mortar, but I think this actually adds to the image. Nice one!

The green on the brick is a nice touch, may even be natural, moss and all. I would look into cloning out the wire climbing out of the planter though.

i like this last edit a lotÂ* (from a good original) nice contrast between the texture of the brick and the soft and bright flowers. nicely composed and interesting light- good eye.

I like the original with the wire. For me adds another dimention to the image and acts almost as a vine reaching up and out of the frame. Might be interesting is it was selectively coloured in a slight green tone. Very interesting. Nice textures and tones. It would be nice if the tallest flowers were lighter and assist the viewers eye navigate throught the image from the pot, up through the flowers, along the 'vine' discovering the textures and tones of the bricks along the way. Thanks for the insight guys...I can't decide btwn the one with and without a wire..lol....sometimes i think an imperfect picture is what generates interest..thoughÂ* the inclusion of the wire wasn't intentional when i took the shot...Rhino, I guess the color of the tallets flower could be altered..But i stoped editing after i got this.lol..didn't wanna ruin a edit tht i was quite happy with..=)

I prefer the wire being there.
