This one doesn't quite grab me, although it is pretty well executed.

The lines from the grill aren't helping you out here. Maybe try making it so that they lead from a corner to a 3rd? Not sure even that would work, though. Maybe try moving closer in and/or removing the grill if you can?

Also, the flames are overexposed. Maybe - if you have this setting on your camera - try using spot metering on the flames so that the camera exposes for them, leaving a dark, underexposed surrounding.

Having a tripod, and doing a long exposure on this kind of shot tends to work well, too.

sounds good! I will try some of those tips. I knew they were over exposed and hopefully that will help. Im very new to all this. I liked the angle of the picture and actually like the grilles cause I liked how the light hit them and made them look, a very calming picture i think
