I was going for the tunnel vision effect with this shot. It has had the standard pp (levels, contrast, sharpen, etc.) and a small touch of radial blur (3 I think). It hasn't been cropped at all and I'm not sure what crop (if any) I would want to go with. My questions then are how would you crop this piece and what do you think of the idea in theory and practice.

Same here, this is all very new, but it looks good, the main focal point is sharp considering the surounding, I don't have any complaints...

I like the idea here. I think a closer crop would work much better. This shot works in an abstract sort of way, but just feel that if the main focal point had just a bit of depth to it it would sit much better. Great idea worth experimenting further with.

actually though the radial blur effect might seem interesting, wouldn't it be slightly unatural in this case...as it gives a sense of rapid motion towards the subject...why don't you post one without the radial blur...
