This was taken in the male extreme ward, the bed is bolted to the floor so it could not be thrown around and no one could get hurt. What is really interesting is the shadow under the bed , it is actually dust and mold that makes up the shadow and not the light coming in from the window. I know the picturehas some distortion in it but with my wide angle, and the low angle I took this shot at I decided to leave it that way I thought it looked cool.

Another great shot!



I think the distortion works well to emphasise what the room represented and the people that stayed there. Have you tried it in B&W?

This one may be interesting with some selective coloring of the bed while converting the rest to B&W

What do you suppose those lugs coming off each leg were for ? I suspect for leather straps?
