Geez Ken when did Hippo start popping up in Kiwi (other than when our Super 14 teams are visiting:G)

Nice characteristic capture - great exposure

It would surprise many people justhow many deaths Hippoare responsible forin Africa annually- they can be quite aggressive if you catch them in the wrong mood and surprisingly very fast on land when they want to be. You don't want tobump into one foraging out of the water at night, believe me(mind you, you don't want to bump into one in the water either).

Great capture!

I was going to make a jokey reference to it looking like my Mother in Law, but the hippo is far prettier.

I can't imagine her co-stars being that impressed though as they walk on the set to meet their new leading lady!

Another great capture Ken. I can feel the moment with this photograph. Would not want to get in the way of those teeth.
