Nice diffused lighting on the rose and I agree with the others on the background. Personally, the crop is too tight for me so I'm with Dom - try cloning, not cropping.

I wanted to increase the richness of the red colour and blurred it a bit. This is the result. I hope you don't mind LT. Just a different perspective.

i've been messing with different crops, myself, and find this works very well, LT.

nice job.

and syd!

tsk, tsk, tsk!!! one shoud NOT deface someone elses hard work like that! :P

it is demeaning, un-ethical, rude, belittling, concorious, derogetory, reproachful,

defamitory, sarcastic, slanderous, abusive, bad mannered, barbaric, brosque, cheeky,

churlish, discourteous, impolite, insulting, unmannerly, vulgar and outright silly!!!

now check out what i did with yours...

Scot I hope you don't mean me. I am very sorry if it is me. Just wanted to see another perspective of this wonderful flower. Not to say that the original was bad, just another perspective, you know learning from each other. Sorry again.

Regards.

Jaki.

Hmm, now I can't tell if you're really worried or playing along, Jaki. I really hope you don't think Scot meant you, because you should see what he did to Syd's picture. :G

I don't remember which one now, but it was funny. I certainly don't mind you messing with it, as you said, learning from each other. Take care, and be well.
