i pray that jaki is playing along with this for i would be heartbroken if he thought it

was a complaint towards his work with LT's great shot.

jaki, if you read this, please know that it was a joke towards syd's and my tendency

to play with each others shots.

if any who read this are able to convay this to jaki, i would be most appriciative!!!

HIS machete?

Whoops, and all along I thought Jaki was a HER!!!(that's serious... I thought Jaki was short for Jacqueline... or "Jackie", a popular Australian female name!)

So....gulp! Now you've got me REAL scared.... (too)

Paul :-)

LT that is some comfort. Don't want to get messing around with some of the folks. :G

Paul really put a smile on my face. Haven't laughted in days since they put a gun on me robbed me of my mobile and wallet. Still left me scared still. The folks around don't hesitate to pull the trigger. Paul you can rest assured it is a HE :homey: and never doubt it again. It is a surname and doesn't get shorter or longer. My first name is Patrick but never use it.

Scot, I had to figure out how to cheer myself up; and I am glad I succeeded. Where there is Syd, and StevDak, there is always lots of fun. It is what makes me return to the forum again and again because of these wonderful, humourous gentlemen. Just wondering where Stevedak is - the missing link.

Syd I could almost picture you bracing for the whip of the machete :G .

Thanks folks for putting a smile on my face. Regard. Jaki.

Hey Jaki, (the elusive Pat/ Patrick!)

Well glad to know my bit of blissful ignorance and way of working around to discovering the truth brought a smile to your dial (face) and a laugh to your heart! OK, I'll just have to join with Homer and say: "Doh"... sorry I didn't know better.

Hope that incident of being held up at gunpoint and robbed will wear off - and whomever did it will eventually be caught by justice or conscience (or better both). I've lived in various countries and seem enough crime and violence to hate it with a vengeance. So wishing you all the best, Jaki!

From now on you're posts will be read with my "this is a MALE" glasses on... and I'm sure that will make all your words mean something new and different. After all women are from venus, men are from mars then say!!

Anyway, wasn't this something to do with a ROSE?

PJ

Jaki, so sorry to hear that you got robbed ~ and at gunpoint. You must have been terrified. I hope you are felling ok. I'm sure I can safely say that all our hearts go out to you. Did you report it? It would be considered a major crime here.

Just as well you didn't have your camera with you.

Kind regards,

Syd

Speaking of roses...

Gender is such a difficult and subjective issue. I've even been referred to as a woman on this forum but didn't care. If somebody guesses your gender wrong on a forum, no big deal, who cares. If they see you face to face and then guess wrong... well maybe slap them or something. Or perhaps just chuckle.

I need to get a good shot of a rose for my avatar.

Hey Paul, very kind and humourous words from you. Thanks too for the support. It kind of been very hard but now getting better.

Syd, thanks a lot. Very terrifying experience. These thugs will squeeze the trigger faster than they can blick. Better to keep clear. Reporting here does not help, but I blacklisted the phone. Worst things happen. I think I came off very luck. Did not mind much about the phone. I carry one of the cheapest about 40$ for this reason. So did not bother to report. Was so upset that I thought I would become a cop and fight these criminals. I don't carry my camera around. Very careful when I go out shooting.

LT want to thank you for the "Rose'. Sorry we deviated from looking at it but as you can see for good reasons. That is what makes this forum click. Regards. Jaki.
