I liked the layout and angle, is the background too distracting?

This would be an excellent shot if you could sort that background out. I really like the softness and mood this projects. One of my favourites of yours, but do see to the background.

Regards,

Syd

this does have a nice mood and great soft light but the background does detract from the overall image. the window blinds are ok but the other stuff....not so good.

Is think this is one of the coolest flowers I have seen on the forum. Just crop that background off and let us see how it looks like. Regards. Jaki.

The shadows and textures in this shot are very nice. I personally think the crop is a little tight - i think a clone of the distracting background would have been nicer - given the rose a little more space? Just an idea...

I agree with Dom that the crop is a little tight, but can really see this as a business card for wedding photography and many other commercial uses. I would say peservere with balancing out that nice white backgound just so as it can take a little less harsh crop and you'll have a real winner. Stock photo or even Microsoft clip gallery photograph. I think it could be a real seller. BTW My middle man management charges are very competitive.

Thanks Julie, DOM, Ken, Jaki and Syd. I appreciate your kind words, and thoughts on this, I too liked this a lot so will save this to work on the background to give the rose some space, and also save the tight crop as well. Syd, I will have to consider your middle man services soon. Have a great day everyone.
