a different perspective of an impressive tree.

the color version was rather boring so i went b&w

any takers on this one?

i will post more of my buddys garden in a series soon.

Extremely nice image Scott. Nothing to critique here, just a great image in all respects.

Would love to see the colour version too for comparison.

much appriciated syd, ladyhawk and julie.

here is the original. (sans crop)

i had to filter it for the petal was quite bright as apposed to the middle.

though i did mess with the iso and aperture, i was shooting in super mac and the

settings are quite touchy.

i may go back today and see if i can find the right settings for a better image.

i didn't mean to say that the color was necessarily bad, per se.

it was the fact that i had to ps it a bit and then filter it to get it this way (been trying

to minimalize post processing lately)

i do like the color edit myself, yet it still is an edited version of the original.

the b&w is a more raw, un-edited version of the shot. (went greyscale and crop)
