I took this photo (original shown first) a couple of years ago when I was just getting started in photography. It's a great subject on a foggy morning. I let the camera do the matrix meter thing and probably should have spot metered on the boat. Anyway, I thought I'd give a go with a couple of posterization ideas to see if they have any merit. Give it to me straight: is there anything here?

Especially find the first one really impressive!
I even tried cropping from the left handside to accentuate the figures in mist, but gave up this idea immediately after having realized that I have already ruined half the vagueness in the image.

I looked hard and I think the first one captures that fogginess very well. The lone source of light seem to accentuate this fact. Regards. Jaki
