Thank you Paul. You did well to point out Syd's lack of concentration on your thread - I've found that hismind is wandering a bit these days andI believe he dribbles a lot. All a bit ominous in my opinion.

Steve, a worrying sign indeed. Seems we agree Syd is losing it in ways. And we thought the lad still had most of his marbles ... Hmmmm.

Still, I can't help but think there might just be some correlation between the "white powdered stuff" he seemed to get a heightened state of consciousness about in the "portrait of a colleague" topic and his sudden dispondence in these other threads since then....

:G

"Shine on you crazy Diamond".... :?

Paul

PS I also like the coach mum shot... just to keep the mods happy!

Yeah and I was just thinking of cloning outstem numbers15, 23, 8 and 4 from the bunch on the right in the "press-ups" photo, to give a more focus on the plant in the front left which is diagonal and needs the focus. That way it might be isolated and maybe could be put on the front of some nature magazine.

(thatwhite powder stuff must be cOnTagiOuS...) :blah: now infected me and my pc.... "You reached for the secret too soon..... you cried for the moon")

awww heck!

don't tell me THAT'S the syd your searchin' for, syd!

i suppose then it would be either Aah-syd or the infamous Barrett.

you know, i once actually met the piper at the gates of dawn, but he was, of course,

obscured by clouds.

unfortunately, i lost the saucer full of secrets and was told i needed to find more

relics.

the echoes are pretty nice, though!

Yes Sirree.... it is indeed THAT Syd that he's searchin' for.

I had asked the question "which syd" many months ago in a long forgotten forum... and Syd had told me the deep dark mystery behind the name...

All I can say is I want to ride my bicycle....

I think that was Queen . . . Syd's already got a bike . . .

you can ride it if you like,

it's got a basket, a bell, and rings and things to make it look good.

I'd give it to you if I could, but I borrowed it.

Meanwhile . . . the madcap laughs!

Doh!! That white stuff is REALLY wrecking mind mind now.. Stupid bicycle connections...

Of course it was Freddy & Queen.... (afterwards in my mind it didn't sound right... Syd's voice and the song... something was wrong, but too many brain cells on holidays... lol)! Got to check my temperature with some Mercury - I guess me thinks I'm a King.

Thanks for the correction Roger, your corrections are like sweet cool Waters that my feet can dangle in, making me feel Comfortably Numb.

Paul

PS I STILL don't like the cloning you did on the bunch of blue stems in the 3rd picture!
