since thes little guys have absolutely ZERO color characteristics, i shot about fifty in

varying light conditions and couldn't come up with anything.

played around and picked this one to represent the effort.

if i find any interest with this shot, may try a few different approaches.

if not, i'll cut down the worthless #@%&&* trees and put in concrete patio....

Scot, running my own small landscape gardening company I would be happy to offer you our services at a slightly reduced rate. But the shot is actually quite nice, and as Boily has pointed out the focus is nicely clean and sharp.

BTW You seem to be way ahead of us on the apple blossom front. My apple tree is only just budding out tiny new leaves and they'll be no blossom yet for a week or two.

I find the subtle colors in apple blossoms to nearly always be worthwhile. Particularly when backed up by a nice blue sky. Your b/w version is quite nice, though. When our trees start to make flowers, I'll try to remember to post a shot or two.
