Here you have a shot at Teatro alla Scala @ Milan, Italy. I was taking pictures of this famous building when three doves were around. Please comment these two pictures (color & BW), there is something scaring about it, perhaps the weird angle, perhaps that (winter) tree, perhaps the doves, dunno... Anyway i love this picture and i'd really like to share it with you and hear your comments.

BTW: feel free to play in PS with them!

BTW2: bad luck i could not get the whole tree!

The color version is quite nice but it is the black and white that grips me. It does have that scary feel from "The Birds" in it. I haven't seen the film but I can feel it in the black and white version. The off kilter shot from somebody running as the birds are chasing them. I like it.

Well done, collegue! What I especially liked in either version is the significant sequence of the trio. You may decide to try cropping a little from the top and left handside(yes, at the cost of losing some elements of the beautiful architecture :sad to accentuate it.
And, btw, wellcome :-)

If you zoom in real close you could clone it out without a problem. Time consuming ofcourse. Or you could be sneaky and use brush tool and sample side ofbuilding and draw over it, then come back and clone in any needed detail.

If you wanted you could also clone the building back in to trim the tree down tomake it appear like you have got the whole tree in theimage

Not difficult just timeconsuming

nice shot btw

ken

Thanks for the comments and the suggestions guys! And of course thanks for the warm welcome!

Now you have again the same shots, this time i cloned out the wires (yep, time consuming task kenmck! (about 45 minutes!)) and did some cropping (thx bahadir).

I think these are "improved" versions, hope you enjoy them.

And now the BW version, i like this much more than the colour version. And i agree with badahir, the cropping accentuated the "trio birds" effect.

And the last one! I promise it!

This time i rotated it a bit (7 degrees CCW) trying to get better diagonals, improving the "scary" effect and getting a better composition (IMHO). I like it even more this way but again i'd like to hear what do you guys think about it.

BTW: with this new angle i needed some more building in the lower right corner... and i could clone it! After my work on the wires that was really easy!hehehe, playing with PS is a lot of fun!
