Thanks everyone who has commented. I am really fortunate to live along such a beautiful coastline. Its really just a matter of F8(more like F11) and be there.

Na I'm sure cricket is an american invention, just like pizza and icecream are! lol! Cricket has so "evolved" [ahem....] in the US that now it's called "base-ball". :blah:

Thanks Scot, think you got the definition of cricket nailed perfectly there. If you came down this way, it would be well worth your time, South Africa is still quite a trip from Europe though.

hey john,

what would be the easiest way for a guy to get to S.A. from europe?

i'm planning on purchasing a wee little scooter while in the UK and riding down there.

in fact, the place i'm buying it from sent me some recent photos..............

I'd stay away from that thing Scott, unless you don't mind getting up close and personal with some of the Great White sharks down there.
