Nice use of backlighting and soft b/g. Too bad about the fly.

I like both of these shots, and I rather like the fly in the first of the two. I prefer the first to the second, due to the fact that the background is less distracting and it has the fly.

One thing that bothers me about them both is that the background shows up that your horizon is tilted. Granted it is very out of focus, and it's not as big an issue as in a landscape photo, but still, you can tell they're mountains, and it is offputting to have them tilted IMHO.

Also, in the first photo, I think that you could clone out the dark object to the right of the frame, and this would help bring the viewer's attention even more to those lovely flowers!

It might also mitigate the off-kilter horizon sufficiently for it not to stand out as much?
