Walking across a field the other day, there was a lovely blue sky.... so I just put the camera on the grass, set it for 10 seconds, guessed where a good place to stand was and *clunk*

Not too sure what I was going for with the BW, it was more that I had an orange tint which I could'nt seem to remove :blah:

Fun shot, beautiful sky.

I do this alot with horticulture. Put the camera on the ground and let autofocus do it's thing. it's a unique way of looking at things.

Nice to see you back around again. I like this idea. Seems to work quite well with that blue sky and clouds.

Thanks for the comments.
The sky was great that day.

Thnaks Syd, yeah I havn't been online for a while...
First my laptops hard drive broke.
So I got a new hard drive, but I lost ALL of my photos from my new camera (hadn't backed them up yet, too busy shooting etc etc:sad: )
Then about a week later the screen died!!
So I ordered parts and fixed it up.

Fingers crossed nothing else goes wrong now!!

In other news I'll be going to Hong Kong in 1 week, then onto England for a week, and then onto Germany for some time.
So plenty of photo opportunities coming up

Good idea - I think you will find that a much tighter crop works better on this. The sky remains a very effective background, in fact I think more so onthe tight crop. Give it a bash, you might quite like it.
