Extreme close up of a swan cleaning itself off. The shot is a bit soft, but I think it works as the feathers themselves look as though they would besoft to touch…

(Sorry for the double post – this was originally in the wildlife section)

Not sure if its just me or not, looks little bluish maybe white balance off? Did color correct looks better I think .

yes the image does have a blue colour cast

your correction looks much better

I think you did quite well considering. I often find I get a blue hue and the highlights blown out when shooting swans. Although there's an abundance of them over here, getting a decently exposed shot is not easy.
