Nice to see you back around again Rodney! I like the lighting on this shot. I don't really mind the sheet as you would expect it on a piano and being that close to him, maybe it's always on his mind or he is always thinking about it? Not too sure about the pose, I think he might look more relaxed if he were sitting on the floor instead of his knees. I think I would like his shoulders then turned a little more towards the camera, this would then hide the bump of his shoulder blade and make his neck more natural, but maybe you wanted the tension in the picture. I am sure you had an idea behind this and tried other poses. What were your ideas behind this? Don't be a stranger!

I appreciate all the comments I've received. I always enjoy the reviews.

I do not find the sheet music distracting because it is a much darker tone than my Center Of Interest. The idea is to encourage the viewer to look at other elements in the scene and always return to the COI. Additionally, you expect to see sheet music on a piano. *wink* I have to admit though, I wish the music sheet were slightly behind his head more so that it didn't look as the corner was stuck in his ear. :-)

I like the pose because I see young people sit like that all the time and it worked well with the mood I wanted to convey.

You mean the photographer. Right? :-)

Thanks for the comments. I'll pass them along to the model.
