Very serene. Relaxing and inviting. Good shot.

Very true, don't quite know what happened and I am staying out of it as there is nothing to be gained and no one is going to change anyone elses mind. Jaki needs to get back from vacation to be the kind voice of reason!

I like the light and composition in your pic and the backlighting, I just wish that the leaf that was blocking the sun wasn't damaged, it kind of bothers me, I don't know why, it just does.:-?

Nice colours and presentation Scot -the time of day is converyed well, I think. I agree with GoCubs about the broken leaf it is a bit of a 'spoiler'. You'll have to add a bottle of superglue to your camera kit - would also be useful for keeping the cat in the right pose :G

This shot is really nice. That sunlight has been captured perfectly, the colours are pretty awesome too. I think the broken leaf is making a statement of some kind . . .

Hi Scot,

I really like the warmth that you have captured from the low sun - really something. Its a shame that right hand leaf is damaged... really nice warming shot though...
