My previous pano of this scene was too long (it was about a 10:1 ratio). I have reduced the lenght and have spent more time with PP on the image. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts.

I think you've done an excellent job here. I like this, especially that range of bluemountains, behind more blue mountains, behind blue mountains. The foreground is quite strong too. The best you've posted imo.

Very nice landscape indeed - you caught theridges/different rangesreally well. Just one point I find a bit distracting is in the right hand middleground - there is a light patch that looks as if it could be smoke hanging above one of the peaks? Think I would edit it out.

Thanks for the comments guys. Yeah, I often hear people mention the loner cloud being distracting. I'll attemp to edit it out at some point.

The file size of this image is about 7.1 MP.I should be able to print at 30x10 @ 150 PPI, 24x8 @ 190 PPI before any interpolation. This should be adaqute for this image. Now I just need to find a place that will print those sizes.

I like this alot. The color graduations from front to back is pretty sweet.

Sorry, I can add no more but can only enjoy :-)
That's such a treat for a hiker! Thanx for sharing this beauty, nelmr. Only a pano work such as yours could do justice to that magnificent landscape.

For those curious the entire pano (it wasn't 10:1 but rather 7:1 ratio is below). I think that the 3:1 ratio still maintains the same effect and allows for better printing and viewing as 7:1 is quite wide. Here is the original edit sized down:
