I took this at Beamish museum. Since resizing it for posting and shapening it slightly it looks much better than it did originally.

I did it at ISO 500 without flash as the colours seem nicer.

It's uncropped and the corner of the book in the centre of the desk seems to be the focus point.

I was stuck using my 70-200 lens so I couldn't go any wider.

After zooming into the green book on the left I found out that it wasn't published until 10 years after this room is supposed to be set (1913) oops.

this is a great shot

i love the warm tones. Exposure is great and very sharp image where it matters. Nice composition and i do like how the shot is slightly cut. nice work

Thanks for the positive comments. I was wearing my asbestos underwear just in case, but I didn't need them
