I am looking for some constructive criticism and pointers on how to improve my skills.
I feel my biggest problem at this time is my unrealistic expectation on the equipment I am using.
A Minolta Z3 compact, and a Raynox 2020pro.

But any tips on how to improve are most welcome.

First my edit

The first edit looks pretty good. I think a slightly tighter crop and moderate burning of brighter areas will increase the overall impact. Here is a quick edit for demonstration.

Thanks for sharing!

yes i also think a tighter crop does this image justice.
I also think the application of a warming failter wil also give the image more appeal. Maybe play with midtone contrasts a lil bit to try add a bit more depth to the image

nice shot

I agree the tighter crop adds to this snap. A case of less being more.

I will have a play with this and burning the highlights when I get some free time.

Thanks for the feedback
